Getting There

Shuttle Services

Complimentary shuttles operate from two locations with services from 4:15 pm through the conclusion of the event.
1) Durango Transit Center (DTC) – All shuttles for the concert at Durango Mesa Park will leave from the DTC located at 250 W. 8th Street.
2) Community Concert Hall (CCH) – All shuttles will leave from the roundabout in front of the Concert Hall main entrance – marked by the mountain lion statue – on the campus of Fort Lewis College located at 1000 Rim Drive.

ADDITIONAL SHUTTLE INFORMATION
  • Shuttle service from the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College is equipped with trailers for transporting outdoor festival gear.
  • Durango Transit Center shuttle offers accessible options for all attendees.

Biking/Hiking

Walking, hiking, and riding bikes to the venue is encouraged via two routes:
  • Horse Gulch Road to Durango Mesa Park service road (Distance approx. 2 miles)
  • Mesa Connector Trail (Distance to venue is 2.25 miles) located at the Horse Gulch Trailhead
Guests who choose to bike or hike should:
  • Follow the signs on the trail routes.
  • Plan accordingly as the concert venue site does not open to the public until 3:45 pm.
  • Bring a headlamp for the return journey down Horse Gulch Road after the concert. Headlights and rear lights for safety and visibility on the trails should be strong enough to be seen by other trail users. Durango Mesa Park will provide 500 free bicycle lights to hikers and bikers on a first-come, first-served basis from the tent at the Bike Corral located outside the “Concert Venue” gate.
  • Avoid using Ewing Mesa Road upon leaving the concert as shuttle and car traffic will make this route dangerous for cyclists and hikers.
  • Bring locking devices for bicycles. KSUT, CCH, and DMP are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Maintain minimum trail speeds when cycling for everyone's safety.

Accessibility

Durango Mesa Park sits atop undeveloped land, with considerable efforts directed toward enhancing accessibility. Surfaces at the concert venue site are a mix of pavement, dirt, gravel, and/or wood chips. For more information, contact the Community Concert Hall at 970-247-7657 before the day of the event or email concerthall@fortlewis.edu.
  • Accessible parking is located on a gravel lot close to the site entrance and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking attendants at the Main Entrance will have current availability information. ONLY vehicles with appropriate placards or license plates will be allowed entry into the gravel lot on the day of the show.
  • Durango Transit Center shuttle offers accessible options.
  • There is a designated seating area and accessible portable toilet units.
